Terms of Service
Last updated November 1, 2026
These terms cover switch402.com and the switch402 API at api.switch402.com (together, "switch402"). switch402 is operated by Tim Duffey, New Jersey, USA. By using switch402 you agree to these terms.
The service
switch402 is a web data API for AI agents: scrape, site map, page metadata, screenshots and web search.
switch402 is provided "as is" and "as available", with no warranty of any kind, express or implied. That includes accuracy, availability and fitness for a particular purpose.
Payment
Paid calls are priced per call and paid in USDC on Base using the x402 protocol. The price of a call is shown in its HTTP 402 response before you pay.
Payments are final and non-refundable. The one exception: if our error charged you twice for the same call, email hello@switch402.com with the transaction hashes and we will refund the duplicate.
Free tools
Free, fair-use limits. We may slow down or block traffic that abuses the free tools.
Acceptable use
Do not use switch402 for anything illegal. Do not use it to fetch, scrape or copy content from sites you do not have the right to access or use, to get around logins, paywalls or other access controls, or to overload or attack any site.
You are responsible for what you request and how you use the results. We may block requests or wallets that break these rules.
Changes
We may change prices, limits, features or these terms, or discontinue switch402, at any time. The current price is always in the 402 response before you pay. When these terms change, we update the date at the top of this page.
Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, lost profits or lost data. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid switch402 in the 30 days before the claim.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New Jersey, USA.
